Kathryn Cowen is a multidisciplinary artist working across the fields of painting, sculpture and installation. She draws on science fiction tropes to create speculative fictions in order to re-present visions of reality. Her large-scale atmospheric landscape paintings sit alongside smaller scale figurative works, bringing together random moments to form a non-linear narrative.
Kathryn also collaborates with poet/sound artist Gareth Jenkins to create immersive site-specific sound, ultraviolet light and sculpture installations which explore the future of nature.
