I have been working and exhibiting as a Fine Art photographic artist for over 38 years. My photography art practise is focused on creating distinctive and compelling compositions that inspire human connection with the environment using film and digital cameras. Process and experimentation is key to my photographic endeavour. The lens is my window on the world. Since 2020 I have been working with the nineteenth century photographic technique; Cyanotype blueprint process and working outdoors with UV light. The blue print artworks are mainly about the photogram; a camera-less image formed by the sun and using the human body as a subject. Ground foraging of fallen leaves, twigs and post consumerist waste also provide subject for patterns and designs in my blueprints. My recent colour photography highlights environmental issues and disappearing architectural spaces. Art projects and workshops include National Trust of NSW, InnerWest Council. Previous commissions include NSW Govt, Broken Hill City Council, Northern Beaches Council.
