Natura Morta

Bettina Kaiser

Dead Nature

The climate future that we are facing, that our children will have to live through, scares me every day. My fear is real, it is big, and I cannot ignore that in my art.

– Bettina Kaiser

In her body of work, Natura Morta, literally translating as “Dead Life” or “Still Life”, Bettina Kaiser explores aspects of humanity’s relationship with nature and the climate crisis.

Bettina’s drawings, mixed media works and installations in this online exhibition are part of a larger body of work recently shown at the Chrissie Cotter Gallery.
